Reuse containers you already have
Shopping in a packaging-free store with your own containers is an effective way to reduce waste. Here’s a step-by-step guide:
1 — Bring your own containers …
… or buy some at the store. You can recycle cleaned glasses with metal lids, spice jars, soap dispensers, bottles and more.
2 — Weigh your containers and record the weight
We have scales with clear numbers where you weigh containers before you fill them. Of course, you only pay for the amount of goods you put in.
3 — Fill the containers with what you need
Use the scoop or in-store dispenser to fill your containers with the desired amount of each product.
4 — Pay at checkout, we accept card and cash
Véronique will calculate the price based on the net weight of your products. We subtract the weight of your empty containers.
5 — Enjoy your fresh, packaging-free goods
If you reuse your jam jar or soap dispenser just twice, you have saved 66% raw materials and energy for packaging production.
